About
Where Japanese tradition meets New York elegance.
Yamasaki is a modern Japanese restaurant and bar at 25 Broad Street, in the heart of New York City's Financial District.
Our Story
Tradition, Rewritten Downtown
Yamasaki blends Japanese culinary tradition with contemporary New York sophistication. The kitchen works in two registers at once — the precision of a sushi counter and the confidence of a modern Asian dining room — while the bar keeps the pace of the neighborhood after the trading floors empty.
The result is an evening that moves: a first pour at the bar, sashimi and small plates, something from the grill, and a room that stays warm well past dinner. It is dressed-up without being formal, and equally suited to a table for two, a client dinner, or a celebration of twenty.
The Executive Chef
Twenty Years at the Pass
Yamasaki is led by an Executive Chef with more than two decades of experience, whose menu is grounded in technique, thoughtful sourcing and a deep respect for Japanese culinary tradition — interpreted through a modern, distinctly New York lens.
